Multiphase mixture is very common in upstream sector of oil industry. Production rates of oil, water and gases may vary depending on the conditions of oil well, reservoir and/or the method employed for enhanced oil recovery

In order to optimize the process of interconnected parameters, it is essential to measure the flow rates of oil, water and gases. Saher Flow’s 3-phase flow meter gives flow rates of all three fluids (oil, gas and water). 

Our patented microwave DMOR technology in conjunction with other proprietary techniques provides unparalleled accuracy to measure the multiphase fluid without any separation. Our innovative ultra-compact integration of microwave sensor with the venturi, makes it one of the most compact MPFMs in the market. Dual microwave resonators working on 2 different bands help to get the water-cut and GVF, which is combined with the venturi pressure drop to give water, gas and oil flow rates. Our unique and compact design gives very minimal pressure (<2 psi) across the device.

The compact meter simplifies the measurement process on field and gives unique benefits such as long-life (non-intrusive), safety (non-gamma) and accuracy over full range (0~100% WC & 0~95% GVF).
